Modern Day Slavery StatementUpdated 16 days ago

By Teddy Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are fully committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct across all aspects of our operations.

We acknowledge that modern slavery can take many forms, including forced labour, debt bondage, child labour and human trafficking. As a UK-based brand, we are particularly aware of the risks within the global garment and textile supply chain, and we take these risks seriously.

To mitigate and address these risks, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Supply Chain Due Diligence: We carefully vet our suppliers and manufacturers to ensure they share our values and meet our ethical standards.

  • Code of Conduct: We have a clear code of conduct which sets out the expectations we have of our suppliers regarding labour practices and working conditions.

  • Audits and Monitoring: We carry out regular reviews and, where appropriate, third-party audits to identify any potential areas of concern.

  • Staff Training and Awareness: Our team is trained to understand the signs of modern slavery and to take action if any suspicions arise.

  • Transparency and Accountability: We maintain open communication with our partners and continuously seek ways to improve our approach to ethical sourcing.

This statement has been approved by the directors of By Teddy Ltd and will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains accurate and reflective of our ongoing commitment to tackling modern slavery.
